This one is an origional, I think a 70's model in great condition. I am looking for a good recording preamp, maybe an avalon u5, etc. Let me know what you've got.

The DBX is the vocal pro rack unit. It's brand new and really sounds good but, I want something that is much more simple like an avalon or Presonus Eureka simple.

I will sell both or trade one/both for a good vocal/recording preamp.

I will take $ offers on the gear but am really looking for mic preamps, channel strips, etc.

Here are some pics. There are some very light scratches on the unit from racking but, considering how old it is..........big deal! I've seen 6 month old pieces in with more wear.

Hey chris if you ever want to sell or trade that ampeg pre i sold you please let me know I am starting to miss it agin. or If i could maybe grab it form you sometime to try it with a new set-up ? Hows the F-2b sound compared to the ampeg?

The alembic sounds much different. Im holding on to the ampeg for now, but you can borrow it and if I ever do let it go, I'll let you know first. Thanks, Chris.

Sometime when I am out that way or maybe when you guys play at The Pines I could grab that ampeg for alittle bit. I sold it to you before I got my sparkle drive and I really want to try them together with the fender jaguar bass I have. I bet they'd be a good match.

To the rest of you, I just bougt an ART pro channel so I won't be needing that one. I will consider other trades for the alembic or DBX. They are of course, still for sale.

Thier a set of EV 181s down facing subs with new speakers. Thier in great shape but I don't use them much anymore, the mackie 1232s I have handle more bass drum then most bars around here can handle lol. Plus when we play outside I still have that big TCS 218 and that thing kills! I looked up what they would go for in the shape thier in and was looking for around $500 for them or as always trades for some more bass gear .....

Hey if your looking for some recording toys I have afew I don't use anymore. I have a older black faced adat and a Studio Projects C1 condenser mic. I also have a 10 space and a 8 space black wood studio racks i think thier raxxess and somewhere I have a remote meter bridge for the adat where you can hook-up four adats to it and keep track of them form I think 20 feet away.

I may need some rack cases. Im not sure about the mic. I don't need any adat stuff.

I would trade the racks to you if you have some you would be willing to trade for them. I want to make sure I'm clear they aren't road racks they are studio racks, they would be great for your basement hey are both mint. Give me a call or let me know here ....
