What a total bummer. I can't believe I have to do this since it just got here YESTERDAY, but it DOESN"T FIT IN THE VAN!!!
:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:
Los Blancos packs a lot of gear into the big blue monster (we call her "Thirsty") and with the current deal containing a leslie cab and a full club PA with lights, we just don't have the space for me to fit this and still have room for a mandatory second cab. A tip from yer Uncle the Road Dog: When touring have 2 of EVERYTHING.
I just got this for $250 shipped from TBer johnmark and it is exactly as he described it. Aside from some very mild impressions in the top from having a head on it (must have been an svt or 400+, lol). Other than that is is as new. Here is the description from johnmark that sold me. It sounds even better than I expected on the low B and I'm sure given the space I would keep this around awhile!
Avatar B212 8ohm cab that I just got brand new just 2 months ago. Dave told me it was one of the very last ones with the Eminence Delta LF speakers, and as such can handle 1000 watts RMS. It is an 8 ohm cab.
Save @ $100 off the cost of a new one shipped, and get twice the RMS handling!
This cabinet is like brand new--you probably won't even find a hair in the carpet. Never been out of my basement since I got it about 2 months ago. I've played through it (at relatively low volume) about 8 times. It looks exactly like: http://www.avatarspeakers.com/pictures/B212nohole.jpg
The only thing different than johnmark's deal, is that it has now been played a ninth time this morning in my living room. :bassist:
$250 shipped to the 48
I am also open to trades for single 12 cabs, or a linear (side-by-side, not diagonal) 212 that weighs around the same or less than the Avatar delta, which is about 64lbs. All plus/minus cash, I'm ready to be flexible.
