Hi G&L people:

I want information about the limited edition of G&L made in Japan. I have been ofered one and I had not heard about these models. Do they have the same hardware, electronics, etc than USA editions.

Remember I´m not referring to the G&L tribute series made in Korea, just made in Japan. I think this bass is from the year 2000.

Haven't heard of them myself. Might be an arrangement something like the Lakland Shoreline series, made (superbly I might add) by ESP in Japan for the domestic Japanese market?

Before 2003 for a short time there was a production of Tribute guitars in Japan. But when production in Japan became more expensive and the best Korean manufacturing raised to the same quality level, the production moved to Korea.
