Saw Tool last night in Dallas. Holy ice skating Jesus...naked silver people hanging upside down from ropes in front of huge vid screens playing Tool graphics.....Maynard nothing but a black silhouette if front of spasmodic, acid-laced videos, screaming at the top of his lungs. Danny Carey is one bad mama-jama on that drumset. Intense. The arena wasn't the greatest as far as sound goes though.
A few drawbacks: way too many chubby redneck girls wearing half shirts, and little poser boys going "punk" for one night. It was like Hot Topic had a sale in the middle of a trailer park.
My man and I had a hell of a time though.....still wish I could've saw Crimson open!

I went to the Dallas show too ! I took my son for his 16th birthday. It was his first indoor concert and I think he enjoyed it.
It was an incredible show.

My Friend Matt went to the show in Dallas last night, and he said that it was awesome. I may have to catch them when they come out this way....

MARRY ME!
Just kidding -- happily married.
But welcome to the board.
I caught the tool show when they were in Virginia Beach. It was a blast. The naked silver people were an interesting addition. I felt a little sorry for them because it was an outdoor show and it was cold and windy!

DUDES, the show I went to was the best I've ever been to. It changed my life, and I have a totally new outlook on music ever since.
