I tried a search but with no luck. I recently bought a new wiring kit and pickup for my P-bass. I've never installed a pickup myself, but I've installed car sound systems so I'm pretty sure I wont have much trouble. I was just wondering if there were any tutorials I could read through b4 I attempt this. Are there any standard lengths for all the wires and stuff like that. I know its all gonna be hidden under the pg, but I'm anal and like everything to look pretty, even if its not seen. Thanks guys!

Stew Mac sells booklets written by various tech guys on wiring. They may even have a video for sale. Also check your local music store to see if there is a good book available.
You need to be able to solder competently. The actual instalation is easy. Keep the wires as short and neat as possible to cut down on noise (unlike Fender and some other companies.) There will be a grounding wire coming from under your bridge and connected to the back of one of your controls. Make sure you wire this in the same as what you have now. Just look at how everything is currently wired before you start. If you bought a prewired harness it should be a snap for you. If you just got the wirie, pickups and controls it's a bit more work.
