The French are coming out with some nice metal, Yrkoon (sp?) comes to mind also. Im gonna check them out on April 1 w/ Trivium and Machine head.

It's like Morbid Angel but less technical, more lucid if that makes sense. Have you heard Mithras? Check them out if you dig Gojira, the album Worlds Beyond the Veil in particular. France has a huge (relative term) black metal scene right now, lots of great stuff happening there with Deathspell Omega, Blut Aus Nord, etc. |
