Having said that, Sound Control (in the basement of the Virgin Megastore), round the corner from Denmark Street, is usually pretty decent, as long as you can get someone to actually speak to... Up until a few years ago, I'd have heartily recommended The Bass Centre as well. They lost something when they moved premises from Wapping though. And now that James has left, the place has gone downhill fast - the guys who work there now are just downright rude and unhelpful. :eyebrow: |
