Check out this vid and tell me that IS an L-1000 from 1980!:hyper: Bassist is stage right (your left). You get a decent look at the headstock at 3:18 and the overall bass at 8:06. I am easily excited I guess......

The video stops at 8:01 for me. Definitely an old G&L but I can't see if a 2K or 1K. Sounds great though.

After watching at 8:06 I guess it could be a 1K or 2K. The camera never gets an angle where I can see if it has one or 2 pups. I assumed it was a 1K from the long shots as it appeared to be 1 pup but it is hard to tell. Anyway it definitely has a serious J-bass growl going on. Just nice to see a G&L from the "early" years.
