Dr. Cheese 12-30-2006, 11:47 PM That's nice.:) It's definitely not what I would have expected from a Starfire.

bassist15 12-31-2006, 04:26 PM Awesome bass. Ive always like hollowbody's but I havent picked on up yet. Where did you learn Continuum? Tab? If you learned it off a tab could you point me in the direction where you got it. Same if you got it from sheet music.
Lokire 12-31-2006, 04:27 PM I learned it by ear. Pretty much how I learn everything now.
markjazzbassist 12-31-2006, 05:20 PM nice tone and nice playing. i also checked out your steely dan stuff, good work.
how do you record? direct? mbox? would you mind telling me how we hear what you're playing?
Lokire 12-31-2006, 05:23 PM I record direct through a DI, into my M-Audio Delta 66 soundcard. Works great! What you hear is the pure tone of the bass that's being recorded :)
I run everything through a mixer too, but that isn't affecting the tone. Here's my studio setup:

sounds good. which DI are you using?
Lokire 12-31-2006, 05:29 PM Accidentally had it covered up in that pic, but it's a Klark Tekink DI. I don't know what the specific model name is (if there is one), but it sounds great!
jerry 12-31-2006, 05:43 PM Wow! Great deal on that bass!
BassManPatsFan 01-01-2007, 12:11 PM Wow! Awesome! You're in college???
