I just got a 6 string Brownsville UB600 and it's great, the sound is awesome and I love the feel of it. But when I tune the B string to drop A tuning, it rattles bad, and I'm not exactly sure what I should do to fix that since I've never really had that trouble unless the neck is warped like my old Squier but the neck on it isn't warped. Do you think it's the saddle height(exscuse me if I use the wrong terms I'm not good with everything)

You probably need a thicker B string. Do you know what the current guage is?

+1.

thicker/tighter Bstring oughtta do it. raising the action (raising the saddle) just a bit would probably also help a bunch.

good luck!

No I don't. This is my first time having anything more than a 4 string. I'm not sure exactly where to get 6 string bass strings at either... Any help with that would be appreciated...And yeah, I figured raising the saddle might help. But I don't have an allen wrench that size, I need to go get one...

I've noticed a lot of big name guitar shops don't carry anything other than low end 5 string brands, or all 4 string brands. So, I do all my string buying there.

Well, I raised the saddle, and it completely stops, no matter what I tune it to. It's great. Now it's raised way above the other strings though, could that cause a problem eventually? It doesn't bother my playing one bit though.

But I play 6 string, where can I get my B and C strings at?

How often do you tune down to A? Thats low, and if you don't do it often, I'd say just deal with it?

I play in the same standard tuning Fieldy from KoRn plays(With the exception of my C string). It's full step down. So I play A-D-G-C-F-Bb. So I play pretty low. For that matter, I try to play like Fieldy, too. I play in a KoRn and Metallica influenced band and we need my bass to really rumble.(One of these days when we record what we do I'll put a link to it up here)
