I combine things sometimes when I practice to get more done, or to make something more fun or interesting. I have been trying to learn to play slap bass and doing octaves up and down the neck has become boring, so I lose focus and get sloppy. So I figure good time to review Todd's Walking DVD materials, why not combine the two. :hiding:
I am having a blast slapping Todd's Walking modules. :bassist: Not only that the moving around of slapping Walking lines is doing me more good in getting my slap technique together. Now I am adding plucks where I would of done skips or drops in the Walking lines. It is turning into a good practice exercise and cool sound.
So trying combining things in practice. Not only does it make things more interesting, but also can find a new sound to throw in now and then. :D
