A friend of mine has bought a Burns Vista Sonic bass and needs to adjust the trussrod.

On these basses you need a special tool do adjust it with the neck mounted on the body. His only option now is to adjust it unmounted, then mount it back on, then check it, and so on. Do anyone know if it is possible to get hold of such a tool or other ways you can get around this problem without having to umnount the instrument for adjusting it?

What should it look like? I have this Burns case-candy in the treasure vaults, with this tool and three hex-wrenches inside.http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a123/Dapper_Dan_/Burnstools0001.jpg

Thanks for the reply. I really don't know what it should look like. I've never actually seen the bass, he's just e-mailed me and asked.
I'll send him your picture and ask if this is what he's looking for. I'll post as soon as he's replied.
Thanks a bunch so far.
