This is a search-engine-friendly text mirror of the TalkBass Forums Youngspanion 01-13-2007, 04:51 AM As some of you know, I just sent my bass in for a neck change.The finish on my bass is honey over ash and I am putting a rosewood fingerboard on the neck. My thought is to also get a matching head stock. I've seen burst colors on headstocks and I thought it looked good. How would a honey finish, which is transparent, look on the maple wood of the neck head stock? Opinions?
