Hi,
To run through the body, I see one needs "Extra Long" strings. Will any brand that makes Extra Long Strings do this acceptably? Specifically DRs, D'Addarios, or maybe La Bellas?
Thank you,
jasper

For D'addarios, you'll need the super long set. Here is the 5 string version that I use.

My guess is that these are the 4 string version.

but I only play 5 string so I'm not positive.
As far as DR's go I think the standard extra long version will work.

ive played DRs high beams and low riders on my 2500 and they both fit through body, also for D'Addario you need super long scale, I think never tried them but someone said they work.

Oh wait a minute, I've made this mistake before. The L2000, doesn't string through the body right? I only play the 5 string 2500 which does string through body, and keep forgetting about that. In that case, you might not need the super long D'addarios.

That's correct. I use Daddario EXL long scale on my L2000 Tribute.
