A rackmountable device that you could plug all your power cables into? For example, I have a tuner, amp and wireless in my rack and have all the power cables plugged into a cheap power board, but I think this method is really dodgy and could damage my equipment. So yeah, hit us up with some names. Im in a semi-pro band so Money is not much of an issue. Ie. no behringer:cool:

Look for Furman, Juice goose, Monster, etc. They offer various degrees of protection. The one I have (an old juice goose) is not much more than a rackmount power strip, so the only real protection it offers is against a big enough jolt to blow the fuse. Some of the fancier ones can correct minor over/under voltages, offer some filtering, etc.

Ok, what are the furman pwer conditioner's like?

Man, I dont' know that there is much to say about any of them. They don't really have a tone or anything. I think you can pretty well shop by features so long as you stick with a reputable brand (and furman seems to be the standard)

I bought a Furman RackRider Plus about a year ago, has a digital volt readout, lights, 8+1 outlet config. I think it was like $80 new.. might be able to find them really cheap on ebay. Its great to have everything on or off with one switch, plus the lights are really nice :) Really makes a rack look good.

They changed the name of them.. Furman calls it the M-8D part of their value "merit" line.

If you tour often or don't want to trouble yourself with checking the AC line before plugging in Furman makes higher end stuff. Even if, you should make checking the AC your plugging into part of your setup.

Just buy a powerboard from an electronics store for $5. Anything else is a waste of money.
