I met him after a concert at the Birchmere in VA last year. Even though there were a bunch of people in line, he still took a couple minutes to talk to me and ask where i go to school and all, he was real down to earth. Maybe your friend caught him on a bad day?

Philbiker 01-18-2007, 07:45 AM I met him briefly at the clinic he gave last year at Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center. After the clinic he took the time to sign anything people wanted signed and talk to everyone in the long line. He was not exactly gregarious, but was polite, patient, and professional. I was impressed.
steveb98 01-18-2007, 10:01 AM Can't say enough nice things about Marcus. I got to meet him, sit and talk for awhile and then he autographed my bass. He one of the most down to earth guys around and really takes the time to be cool to his fans.
