Selling my last Jazz Bass :( I'm sad, but I've figured out that I'm just not a Jazz guy! No trades, please.
This puppy is a JB-62 '62 RI Jazz Bass, Made in Japan, from about '93 or '94. It's black, and the finish is in good shape but not showroom perfect. It currently wears a black pickguard for maximum rock appeal, but I have tort and white guards for it also. The neck is an AllParts maple neck with white binding and pearl blocks. It's slim, straight and plays GREAT. I love this bass, but it's just not ME. Sad again :( It's got EMG's installed but I have the original passive pickups available. I kept all the stuff that goes with the pickups (brass grounding plates, ground strap, etc.) and will be happy to reinstall everything should the buyer choose passive. The tuners are Schallers. One warning, the neck has some extra holes drilled under the tuner plates. Don't try to take them off, it's pretty gnarly under there...
Includes a Fender Deluxe gig bag, and will be shipped in a super-nice box.
$550 for the bass as-is, with the EMG's and black guard, plus gig bag.
$500 for the bass with the original pickups.
Will substitute a tort or white guard at no charge. I'll include all three guards for an extra $40.
