Own a classic! Just bought a new bass so something has to go (how many times have you HEARD that or SAID that yourself!!!)...I really do hate to see this go since it was my first new bass....but we have to move on...

Classic Peavey T-40 1982/1983 Gloss Black with Maple Neck.

Some buckle rash but it does not go through the "tough as nails finish!" Only other issues are a SLIGHTLY bent pick up switch toggle and some slight rash where I rested my thumb

Great shape and sounds fantastic! Those of you who had one/played one know the wide range of sounds you can get with these!!!

Keep it as is or update it with Darkstar Pickups!!! Comes with original hard shell case!!!

I unfortunatly am not a man with any kind of money, otherwise I'd make an offer. I'd just like to say that this is an awesome awesome bass. I played/own a broken one, and it sounds great, a working one sounds phenomenal.

Just offering free support, if you like "classic" bass tone, almost Ric esque, this is a sweet bass.

I too just bought one of these T-40's from Bartman. I have way too many instruments, but I wanted to try one out. I can't see how you can go wrong with one of these things. Sure, its heavy, outdated, and has too many knobs, but it is a piece of rock Americana and a cheap one at that. Good luck with the sale. :D

I'd be on it if it were a natural finish but I'm already at my quota of black basses and I want to see the grain.
Good luck with the sale, you don't see many in as fine a condition as yours.
