Here is a virtually new GK Backline 600. I bought it as a backup amp about 6 - 8 months ago, used it on 2 gigs plus as a low-volume practice amp. Then I bought a third amp, leaving me with one more than I need. So I have this one as well as my Ashdown MK500 for sale (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=294524) right now.

$200 plus shipping and I'll eat the paypal fees. In the original box, with owners' manual. That's 34% less than new!! I'll even include the rack ears, which are a $30 add-on from GK.

hey what is the diff fo the artisti series and the backline? origin? power?

I am not sure I can articulate that as well as GK could. The Backline series is their entry-level series.

That's a lot of amp for the money!!!!

The BL600 has the exact power amp board as the 400RB (confirmed by Daniel Elliot, TB member and GK employee).

The preamp is different and it has a distortion channel.

Would this have the same distortion as the 2001 monster?

Bump. I'm surprised this has lasted so long - a really decent amp at an accessible price. I am a little embarrassed to say that the few times I used it on little gigs, my singer told me he liked it better than my big dog.
