Alright...after getting my Peavey 400 and playing it (before the damaged tubes popped), I think that this may not be the amp for me.

While it sounds good, it really is heavy and I can not seem to find a Peavey cab big enough to put this amp on without it overhanging. I like Peavey stuff and want to continue to have a 15" or 18" along with a couple of smaller drivers, but I am not a 4x10 kinda guy). I was looking at several 1820 cabs, but can not seem to find a resonable seller who actually wants to follow through on the sale.

Anyways, with the VB-2 on the horizon and the prospect of spending another $300 for a setup/biasing and $200 for a proper wheeled road case, I am seriously thinking of selling this amp.

The amp is in pretty good condition, a little wear/scuffs on the carpet edges and the metal corners are a little worn/rusted..otherwise its really nice. Would anyone want this for $525 including shipping in the lower 48 states? I just want to see if there is interest before I make my final decision!

That was not helpful Ray...slightly funny, but certainly not helpful.

...anyone have any interest in my Peavey Classic 400?

You know what...I found someone to setup the amp with new tubes for $250 and have been urged by my bandmates to hold onto the amp, so I am going to keep it. Didnt seem like there was that much interest anyway. thanks
