Hey guys, I am looking into having some simple inlay work done. Basically just pearloid dots.

I have a 26 fret neck with 2 octaves (of course). I just want the basic inlay setup. Any idea of a ball park cost for having this done?

I am goign to start asking some the luthiers in my area and I just want to know what to expect.

Thanks!

Brian.

I don't know about your area, but around here, for a basic dot inlay pattern(1/4" dots....MOP)would be around $75 plus materials.

I wast thinking of doing something similar to my Warwick Corvette, how much would it cost to put in some MOP blocks up 2 octaves?

in my area, blocks are gonna run you upwards of $125-150, plus the cost of materials, so you might be looking at a $175-200 job...

sounds about right....especially on a fretted board
