Up for sale or trade is my Marantz PMD660 Professional Stereo Digital Recorder. This is a fantastic unit for recording rehearsals or live shows. It records full CD quality audio to a compact flash card. Once recorded, the files can simply be copied directly to your PC for editing.

The PMD660 is in like new condition. It includes cables, drivers, manuals and power supply. I am also including a like new Shure SM57 microphone with case, cable, and stand adapter. Also included is a 1 GB flash card for the Marantz. I have more info linked below.

I would like to trade the recorder for a bass amplifier head, preferably a two-space rack mountable unit (no rack is required). This baby makes fantastic field recordings, but I haven't used it in a while and I need an new head. I would also sell the recorder/mike/card for $400 shipped to the continental US. USPS Money Order only.

If you are interested, drop me a PM or e-mail to russ (at) standbyscrew (dot) com

Here's a link to the Marantz page describing the unit:

what kind of heads you looking for?

What heads would I be looking for? The usual suspects; SWR, GK, Ashdown, Ampeg, Peavey, whatever. The regular, rather than the budget lines, so no Workingman's, Backline, MAG etc. Run something by me if you are interested.

And thanks for asking.

Cheers,

Russ

I have one of these, and it is just amazing. I record everything now. Everything. I have several GBs worth of reheasals and gigs. Can't say enough about this little unit.
