The band name is "Rotareneg esion kcalB". I decided I'd rather have a separate place to put all my noise/drone stuff, rather than mix it in with my other carp.

I even came up w/ a logo:

The song is Dleif Elttab/Raw Ot Llac (http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=660141&songID=4972864)

Enjoy! (as best you can :p)

I like you logo dude. Your song would be a great sound track to a alien horror flick. :)

Glad someone likes it! Just looked at its chart position too (forgot to the last couple days :o): #10! And it's highest position was 9! Not bad for my 1st real noise/drone song :D

My other random jam hit 3 of all things

Right now I've just finished up an "ode" to Earth, which I'll probably post in a couple of days....

I'm amazed at how many drone ideas I have :D

As RWP said it would fit snuggly into an alien sci-fi flick.

I really like the effect at from 4:26 -> 5:46.
What type of reverb /delay time is that on there?

That's actually a wah, somewhere in the middle of it's sweep, into a string synth patch with some verb. The verb is the "cavernous" type on my PODxt, so it's like being in a really BIG cave. Fairly high verb/dry mix IIRC, so that what you're hearing is a lot of the actual reverb effect.

Guna have to try that....
Although not with a POD but single effects.
Interesting. :ninja: :ninja:

Hang on: does the POD have an autowah/wah function on it?

Oh, and there's some amp OD, and light, sloooooooow phasing in there as well in there as well

A mid boosted fuzz should be able to emulate the synth patch IMO

I couldn't hear any phasing. All the more reason for me to go and have another listen.

Cheers for the info Dan. :) :bassist:

It's in there. Most (if not all) the mod effects on the POD have a mix value. The speed is 0.14 Hz, the feedback is 21% (hope that means something) and the mix is 30% phase shifted signal/70% "dry". The POD does model the Phase 90 :D

Like I said before it's light, very subtle.

BTW the wah is more of a resonance filter for the synth/fuzz. Heel position yeilds almost no "distortion" while forward, there startes to be more "breakup", especially in the treble freqs. Setting a dist/fuzz to just before breakup should obtain the right result. I think.

Hope you have fun experimenting at least :D

I also do "mirror" stuff like the song title "Earthtra3" which is Earth and htraE joined at the "h", and the last E flipped to become a 3!

It's all about fun with letters :D

hey are you a Manson fan because that reminded me alot of him, to bad it didn't have the awesome vocals to back it up or do what Marilyn Manson did and put a recording of you having se* in the background
