Here are some old recordings from last summer with my old band Sullen Door. I've since left them for multiple reasons, but I figured since everyone else shares their recordings, I may as well.

"Old Friends" and "I Need Hope" have my most prominent playing. "I Need Hope" is my favorite song I ever did with that band.

"Lost Love" has the bass mixed super low (and I'm not really fond of my bassline in that song.) "Isn't It Time" was recorded before I joined the band and has no bass at all.

Any feedback is appreciated. I always want to grow as a bassist.

Right on... I did the same for a now defunct band of mine that I really enjoyed my time in.

Enjoy:

joroched- that drawing was done for us by my friend Julie. I really like it too.

Subculture13- Good stuff. I really liked the groove in Hunt the Future. The singer in my old band would have dug this stuff. He was really into bands like Pulp, Belle and Sebastian, stuff like that.

Heh, and I guess my playing was so subpar that people wanted to be nice and adopt the whole "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" but if my playing sucks that much, I do want to know why and how I can improve. :P:P:P

I listened again, but just can't get through a whole song. The bass is the best part as far as I'm concerned, except for that drawing.
