My singer's cousin just moved into town, and is looking to put some music he's been working on into studio, and play out with it.

The music is great. He has recorded ideas on his Apple, and he is definatly a "doer" and not a "visionary." He has recorded a few songs on Apple Garageband, and they are well structured, not just a bunch of noodling. I'd say it sounds like rock, with some folk influences. I compare it to The Killers & Bob Dylan.

I would really love to do this, but my band is heading out on a tour and I don't want to end up in a commitment I can't hold. He wants to record in about a month, so if you would like to be on the recordings, please get ahold of me this week. Even if you don't get ahold of me within the week, keep the e-mails coming. I might end up recording it, and have someone else do the touring/live shows if he can't find the perfect fit.

The Nitty Gritty

- Active rehearsal. 1-2 times a week.
- Creative counter-harmony lines. This will be a three piece, so the bass will need to hold the bottom, yet add melody to the song.
- Acceptable gear & transportation.
- Experience. Don't need jazz chops in this group. Just need someone who can play a simple line, and be energetic in a live setting.
- Active gigging. I won't promise anything, but with my band's contacts alone, this group could be playing 3-5 times a month starting out.

That's it. PM me.
