I'm interested.

How many xlr mics go into that? Could I use it as a submixer as well?

Kevin - Can you hang in for a few hours? Say 6:00 pm PST). I need to research this and see if it will actually run on my computer. If so, I'm on it. I have to run out for an hour or so and I'll dig in when I get back.

I'm just looking for an easy way to get my bass into MP3 format... something other than firing up my whole damned studio ... while it's fun it takes too friggin long. I expect it will just fine. Just want to be sure.

Thanks, Mal

4 xlr inputs. You can use it as a submixer, you can get at least two independent mixes, possibly three if you are creative enough.

Mal, Thor has first shot, he did chime in first, and his avatar scares me so I do not wish to cross him. Being half Swedish, I am not one to incur the wrath of someone who's handle is Thor.

As good as sold to Thor, Mal. If it falls through I'll let you know.

I gotta learn to pm and then post ... looks to me like I ought to be doing the fise wire version in any event though.

By the way - on a curiosity note, how are the audio out's on these ? Can these work as a viable live mixer in a coffee house type environment ?

PM's are your friend!

Yes, it is noise-free and could easily handle a coffee-house gig.
