Phil if you wanna host, I'd have no problems with making the trip to Ashburn. Otherwise, I'd love to do a full-blown super- GTG at the shop, but it would have to be late summer. I now have a tenant downstairs, and there's a little less space than before.

We can do a mini GTG at the shop on a Sunday when it's usually closed in the early summer, like May or June.

Well this is where it gets tricky, ha.

I am not entirely sure our exact schedule. I know I'm in DC on the 20th, going to Maryland to see Wilco on the 21st, then it's all up in the air. We're going to Northern Virginia (Arlington) to visit family sometime in the trip.

We'll have a rental car so I think I'll be set on transportation. I'm super stoked for it and hope that I can make it!

Might be a decent idea.

The only caveat would be the weather. There's no room for a kit in the shop, so we'd probably set up a tent and PA outside in the parking lot.

Just let me know as soon as possible. I'll be headed in the direction of the shop on the 17th and I could drop it off then. If we don't use it due to weather I'll just grab it afterwards.

Another great event. For me, the Brubakers were the hit this year. All were great basses and all the owners could really play. There was also a great Skjold (I think it was Hollowman's) and John's 8 string.

I need to see pictures. Pictures of what I missed when my dog Newman was busy throwing up. :p

I only saw one camera, so pictures will be few I think..

I got there late, couldn't stay long (between soundcheck and a gig) and missed some folks but it was fun seeing the folks there again and some for the first time. I played Sean's new Sadowsky on Saturday and it's excellent. Also got my hands on John's Stambaugh 8; great bass, great attention to detail, and there was this one guy who brought a sweet Fodera that "might" be available;)
