Any interest in a Dean Pace EUB 4-string? I'd let it go for $450 USD, plus shipping, and any related fees (e.g. paypal)

It's an interesting bass. I picked it up thinking I'd use it on my band's acoustic stuff. The only time I've ever used it was on a duet with my daughter :)

After purchase I immediately had my luthier set it up and put some good strings on. Bass has a very DEEP tone that is just killer. It's got some serious "M'wah" going on too.

It's fun, but I just haven't gotten the use out of it I thought I would.

Bass is in excellent, almost new condition. Comes with the associate hardware (stand) and the Dean case - soft case with compartments for the bass and the stand.

Bass is damn near flawless. It's hardly been out of the case. Pictures don't do justice to the deep red finish. It's reminiscent of an old fashioned candy-apple red metallic. Very cool. The colored finish is actually tasteful in context. Next few posts will contain the photos. Any questions, let me know.

I know someone with one of these. He put tapewound strings on there, and foam at the bridge. Now it's a very cool sound! Set like this, it comes closer than most EUBs at getting that upright sound.

The bassist with a band we gigged with had one and I was just floored by how good it sounded. Once I put those DR Chromes on her and had her set up properly, that baby oozes with character, tone, and monstrous MWAH!

Was hilarious when I did the duet with my daughter (we did a little blues boogy that we put together) and people came up to me afterwards to ask me "what the heck were you playing?" :)

Tapes and foam at the bridge... damn, that would sound good.

Bass body is about 45" overall - with a 35" scale length.

Dang, twarn't much of a feeler :) Bass is tentatively sold. Details pending.

Spoke to soon maybe. I"m still in talks, but I"m not considering her tentatively sold at this point. Still up for grabs at this point.
