Hey all, here's your chance to get a killer Jazz Bass. I love her, but I need a 5, and I can't afford both.
It's a 2004 American Vintage Fender '62 Jazz Bass.
See the shielding tutorial thread (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=159191) for details on the wiring.
Since then, I have replaced the pickups with Sadowsky hum-cancellings and done the series-parallel wiring using a Fender S-1 pot, and replaced the black knobs shown above with chrome "Precision" knobs.
Here are some photos of the bass with the original controls (new ones added below):

Bass is in great condition - two minor flaws:
1) One very minor ding on the body where a guy threw the plug end of a cord to me on stage and it struck the body.
You can see it here above the neck pickup (you can also see the Sadowsky pickups):

2) Previous owner tightened the neck screws too much and the neckplate cut into the finish on the back. Doesn't affect anything except it can never be called mint:

Here is a closeup of the new controls, featuring Blend, Volume (with series/parallel pushbutton [Fender S-1 switch]), and Tone:

Out is Parallel :

In is Series :

When in Series, the Blend is bypassed but the master volume and tone are active.
Currently strung with TI Jazz Flats. Action is medium-low and no fretting out anywhere on the neck, very comfortable.
Original hard shell case and all case candy (pickup and bridge covers, mutes, etc) included. With the bass, the Sadowsky pickups, and the custom "TB famous" wiring, asking $1100 + shipping.
Trades considered for Lakland Skyline JO5 or 55-02 in 3 color sunburst.
