If I were to buy only one of Buckethead's album, which would I buy?

For me the verdicts still out on whether or not he warrants me purchasing one of his albums. I've seen him perform with Primus and he was really uh different. Not sure I'd BUY an album yet.

I've heard him play and he seems very talented. His gimmick turns me off. Does he have an endorsment from KFC?

He doesn't have an endorsement. When I saw him in the summer, a thick strip of tape with the word Funeral was around the hat, covering the KFC stuff.

I have 3 of his albums, and what amazes me is how different all 3 are. I think Population Override is his best of what I have. Then Electric Tears, then Giant Robot.

I really liked C2B3's song called Buckethead, and the solo was just amazing... And I'm looking forward to hearing more rocking songs like that.

Monsters and Robots.

Really it depends on what kind of music you're looking for. If you want upbeat, shreddy type stuff then don't get Colma. I recommend Monsters and Robots for that kind of thing. If you want something more mellow, in fact VERY mellow then Colma is your album. It's nice.

Population Override. A little funkier, less straight brutal shredding but a very solid album over all. The thick synth sound adds to the texture.

Crime Slunk Scene. A pretty straight forward rock album but solid all-the-way-through material.

It's actually pretty cool. He has a pretty different sound from one album to the next most o fth etime. He's done funk, classical, lots of metal, rock, groovy stuff.. he gets hated on way too much in my opinion (most people think he just shreds always)

My favourite album from Buckethead would have to be Octave of the Holy Innocents. Yes, it's tehnically a Hellborg album, but Buckethead was great on it!

I would recommend "The Cuckoo Clocks of Hell", "Buckethead Vol. 2", and "Kaleidoscalp"

His 2 recent ones(Elephant Man's Alarm Clock and Crime Slunk Scene" are pretty metal but he only sells them at concerts

I like his stuff, but I prefer his alter ego: Death Cube K.

I understand that both CDs are out of print, but if you can find any of it, I highly recommend it.
