The Dunkin sounds great, and it has a cream pickguard.
Plays and sounds great.
I mean it sounds perfect for almost anything.
Look at how much nicer the cream pickguard looks, and if you want it I have the original white one also.

And the SCPB-3 is the one in here. I have never heard in person, or played a 51, 53, or any SCPB, and the tone on this is better than any other P bass pickup I've heard. It's a great sounding bass gentlemen. I compared it to a 50's series P with a Lindy Fralin, and it's much better. IMHO. Deep and punchy! I had no idea that the single coil sounded so sweet. Only reason I'm selling, is to help fund my Schroeder 21012R purchase. I'll find another one of these in the near future.

OK, A nick or ding is on the headstock. That's the only mark on the bass. Maybe a couple little swirls here and there, but mostly it's a well taken care of bass. The bottom picture doesn't show the grain because of the flash, but it shows how nice the action can go on there. It plays real nice.And yes it's nice and light.. like under 8 on my digital bathroom scale.
I think the Stings sound much better than the regular p basses because of the ash body. I had a couple of Laklands with ash, and they had that same deep resonant sound. It's a nice bass.

Whoever takes it today, for the 600.00 shipped gets a free Danelectro FAB Distortion pedal. :) new battery and all :)
