I have hear a Peavey Foundation Active S bass. As a whole Peavey Foundations are great, MIA bassed that are all now at least 10 years old. They are well known for their great strong tone and slender fast necks. This one is not different. It has been played, no doubt and has dings and all that you would expect from that. Some one at some point must have played with a pick and had a large ring in order the dents seen in the picture to be created. The neck is straight and fast, the tone is big, and the frets are in excellent shape as they were recently replaced up to #12. This bass will hold down the low end for years to come. If I did not already own two, I'd keep it, but I want to mess with a fretless...It comes packed carefully in a gig bag.
