We know it's supposed to be smokin'! Haven't played it personally, but we did see a proto at NAMM. Sounded good, lightweight. Should be an awesome piece! Rest assured, we'll be the first to get it!

Peace!

We'll let you know as soon as we get them... We don't have a release date yet, but I would guess that we'll see some come in towards the end of the Summer.

Peace!

Here is a snippet from a correspondence I had with PJB about a month ago.

I was curious if you had information about the specs and availability of the new D-400 that was announced? Specifically, I am interested if it will be 2ohm stable and its power rating, as well as when it will be available and the estimated cost.

Hi Smalleq,

The D-400 is 250W into 2 ohm load (400@4ohm). The retail price will be $895. We have not produced this amp yet but we anticipate to have it available in June.

Thanks for your inquiry!

Also, here is one of Tom B's shots from Winter NAMM. You can see the D400 on top of the 6 speaker neo cab on the left.

The D-400 sounded great at NAMM, and the two channel design was pretty nifty. I can't wait to get my mitts on a production model! :bassist:

Well it's now Sept. and the Neo line is just out. Can the D 400 be far behind ?

Wait, 250W @2ohm, 400W @4ohm? Shouldn't the 2ohm allow greater wattage than 4ohm?

As of today, Phil confirms that they are targeting a release of the D400 by the 1st quarter of 2008!

That's an estimate, not a guarantee, but it's what they are shooting for.

Peace!
