Who's book, in your opinion, is the best?
I've never really tried to learn this technique but i'd like to give it a try.

Also check out ''The Slap Bass Program'' by Alexis Sklarevski, on DVD & VHS. Available at bassbooks.com. Carlo T. mkettner 03-02-2007, 11:32 PM The bass video by Jeff Warren is decent. I think it is just simply called slap bass. He also has a good one on tapping. theroan 06-19-2008, 10:29 AM +1 For the Slap Bass program. You will not find a better video than this one. Others will teach you the basics, but this one will teach you to actually achieve the really cool stuff you can do with slap. As far as I know it's coming up on 20 years old and has yet to be bettered. |
