SOLD
My beloved Cirrus 4 string:crying: . Best playing bass I've ever owned! This bass can turn you into a slap and tap monster. Unfortunately, I'm a traditional guy so I'm putting it up for trade or for sale $579 + shipping. Willing to add/subtract cash for the right deal. Bass is early 2000's, walnut w/ bubinga top(I don't think they use bubinga anymore on these). Frets/neck are in fantastic shape, body has some light marks on the back.

How high/low is the action? And what kind of pickups are used?

Action is super low. Pickups are stock Peavey active w/ volume, tone, b+m+t controls.

Now that's a steal! I have this bass's twin brother. Action is SUPER low (and buzz free) and build quality can't be beat!

If I didn't already have a 4-string Cirrus, I'd be all over this. Used Cirri (!) are just about the best deal on the market for a top-quality bass, and this price is BELOW market.

Plus, I've dealt with BB before, and can vouch for his "trader quality". Somebody will get a GREAT deal here.

I appreciate the kind words BBD. I've never understood why Peavey products aren't held in higher regard in the guitar/bass world. Honestly I'm shocked I've not received more trade offers. Soooo, now accepting trades for all 4's and 5's +/- cash.

Truly hard to believe this is still here. My Cirrus can hang with just about anyhting I've owned in terms of tone, playability and built quality. It's pretty much right there with $4000+ basses I've owned and you can get this for under $600......
