Hello all,
I've been wondering for a while now what are some of the pros and cons with stacked pots as opposed to individual pots, besides the obvious(stacked takes less space). Unfortunately, I haven't had much experience with stacked pot's except for my beloved 6 string Roscoe, which was stolen from me 10 years ago this July :crying: .

Anyway, that bass had a 3 band active eq with a stacked bass/ treble pot. I liked it, it was very quite and smooth  . However, all my other basses always had individual pots. So I was hoping that some of the more experienced bass builders out there could chime in with their opinions and/ or suggestions on the subject :D

Thanx...

space savings is about it. it's 2 pots taking up 1 pot space, nothing more, nothing less. just a 2 for 1 exchange

yeah, im a bit of a clumsy player... really i like the look of single pots, double pots just look too chunky, and honestly, FUGLY. but.. really for the way i play (Like a retarded monkey) they are pretty nice if you use one or two to save some room.
