This is a 1993 Foundation 4, I bought on e-bay, from some guy in Arizona, with a PHD behind his name. He bought it new, took a few lessons, and put it in the closet. There's not a scratch on it. I gave 200.00 (plus shipping) for it, without any case. I got it, and put on a new set of DR highbeams, and as soon as it was ready to play, I found the Foundation I was really looking for, on Craigslist, that is a match to my 5 string, so I don't need this one. I'm selling it with a hard case, and the new strings, for the same 200.00 (shipped). This is the American made Foundation, maple neck, hard case, mint cond. White, in color.Sounds great.
The case is a Peavey case, it's not mint, but is still a good useable case. It came with the red one.

These are the best passive Jazz style basses I know of. A bump for a great bass at a great price.:)
