fttfbass 03-14-2007, 06:50 PM I have a four string SX SBG2 (stingray copy) for sale. I'll try and get some pictures listed if anybody is interested. The bass is in brand new condition. It has a 3 band active EQ. It is a natural wood color with tort pickguard, which is the only color they come in. It has a maple fretboard. It has DR Highbeams strings on it. I'm selling it because I prefer the tone of a Fender Jazz. I bought it new for about $180 shipped.
Do to the fact that you can't get these in the US anymore, I'm asking SOLDshipped. I only accept money orders and personal checks.

Well it's about 1/10th the price, so as far as money is concerned it's much better. The bass plays extremely well, but it's not an Ernie Ball. If the preamp and pickup were both upgraded to what the owner preferred, then this bass would probably be just as good if not better than a real EBMM. And it would cost less than 1/2 the price that you could get a used EBMM for.
I was going to upgrade the bass myself, but I'm a Fender Jazz kind of guy, so it's up for sale.
