I have a pupil who is learning quite fast, and shows most interest in the sound of the Chillis (Flea). I've tried to find a book that she could work through in the easter break, but they seem to be split cleanly into the rock, and funk categories. Has anyone here come across anything that tries to link the two?

There is a book out for the latest RHCP CD Stadium Arcadium which has the transcriptions of Flea's lines, but can be purchased with CDs of the original recordings with just Flea and the guitar to easily hear the parts. There are a couple versions of the book so make sure you get the "Special Book/CD Bass Edition"
