I'm hoping that Paul will set up a Solo Bass forum in the General Forums for the more general discussion of solo bass (including where and how to set up solo bass gigs, meeting up with other solo bassists, solo bass composition techniques, etc. ...). I added a request to the Suggestion Box forum here:

If other people are also interested in such a forum, you should all chime in there.

The idea isn't to take away people and posts from this forum but, rather, to not flood this forum with threads that are unrelated to and/or not directed to Steve or Michael.

hmmm, sounds like a good idea. because many of threads here either dont have much do with Steve Lawson or Michael Manring or dont ask them something.
