who actually played this song? i love it but i have never actually gotten round to looking up who sung it, i heard it on pulp fiction then a few times after and would like to know who sung this song...anyone know?

also off topic but keeping with pulp fiction, when samuel.l.jackson and john travolta are walking up the corridor talking (before they go into the room where samuel.L.Jackson makes that big speech) has anyone noticed strawberry letter 23 by the brothers johnson playing in the background coming from one of the rooms as they walk past, just last time i watched it (half a year ago or something now) i realised and never realised before.

sorry if this is in the wrong place, i wasnt sure where to post this

You know, you could have just Googled the song title -- it would have taken you about 1/10th of the time it took you to post. :hmm: But I'll be nice...it's Dusty Springfield.

You question's already been answered, but here's a great video of Joss Stone doing that song. One of my favorite songs ever. Joss Stone - Son of a Preacher Man (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDNC5JWvk7U)
