That's pretty cool.
But it says his '61 Jazz has a rosewood neck and fingerboard. And no mention of the cool triple-neck acoustic guitar/mandolin thing he played when I saw them in '77...I always wondered about that one.

It also says the Hag H8 is a 34" scale - I don't think so.

I wish I hadn't seen the nipple shirt.

Lots of good info though.

It also didn't mention his two Alembics, as far as I saw.

Luthier Andy Manson built that for him.

1968 Hagstrom H8 8-String
The site claims that this bass was "used in-studio on Achilles Last Stand". JPJ used his ALembic 8 string on that entire album , Presence.

He did use the Hag in the Stdio on "Celebration Day".

Where did you get this info? There's four string bass on many tracks on "Presence" (for example on "For Your Life").

I thought, JPJ used a 1963 Jazz.
The pic of 1961 bass, looks more like a 1963?
No stack knobs.

Thanks for the link on Andy Manson.

And as for the Jazz, I don't know what year it is...I was mainly disputing their claim that the neck (not fingerboard) is rosewood.
