I'm already regretting this and I know I will more later, but this baby must go. I picked up this bass from the dude back in September '06 and Funkster had it prior to him. So John and Henry any other info you'd like to provide on this bass would be great.

It's a 1980 "transition" year bass, which means it has a S( serial number on the headstock, neck date is 10 20 83, it's black with white pickguard, rosewood fingerboard, white pup covers. According to the dude and Funkster all original. It plays great, has a really nice old Fender P sound, the pics are from the dude, the only thing I have done is put a set of black beauties on it. If you want a bridge cover I have one, not original, I can send along. Comes with a Fender hard case. Very nice color to the neck, pretty darn smooth. The more I write to less I want to let it go, but alas things do come up.

WOW That was quik, This bass Rock's and the neck is perfect. It's got Bark! Nice dark and smooth Pbass tone from what I can remember.. Great score whoever got this bass and the value will do nothing but go up as the years go on. Good Deal.

1-9/16" would make it an "A" neck measure the nut width

It's MIA and the tuners are the Fender standard ones they started putting on in the early 80's......
