I bought the rush in rio video because their music is good and geddy can really shred:p but I kinda cant stand his attack kinda one finger-ish?? you know what I mean? I don't know, I'd kill for his ability! but it kinda bothers me. just looks awkward. but works for him! is there any reason for his fingerstyle? anybody else notice that or is it just me?:bassist: Dash Rantic 04-02-2007, 06:20 PM I believe he's stated before that the fewer fingers you can play with, the funkier it gets. Therefore, one finger is the pinnacle of funkyness. He's not too far off, playing with fewer fingers *does* give a better sound IMO. Besides the great bass chops, it's fun to watch the laundry cycle in the background, dryers running laundry in, dryers off, dryers on, people coming out and getting the laundry out....
