Pre-ebonal model. Ebony board w/lines, custom Bartolini pickup, excellent condition. Interested in trades for a comparable 5 or 6er. If not I'd be looking for $950 plus shipping/Paypal.

I meant comparable in value not style. I am not looking for another fretless.

I realize that, what do you consider as value? for example, if a bass sells new for $950, would you consider that equivalent value seeing as how the resale for that bass would be likely less than that?

Really now. Use common sense. That would not be comparable. To answer your question I am referring to present day value, not what is was valued when it was selling new. Also intrinsic value such as a Reverend Rumblefish has. Since those basses are no longer made, and they definately have a core group of enthusiats their value (based on recent TB sales) have been anout the $850 to $900 range when a year ago you could have scored one for $750. I hope this clears up what I meant by value. So I do mean more than monetary value in some instances.

common sense, eh? well since you were so vague about comparable basses, it seemed like common sense to ask, and since you used the example of varying value, you said the same thing i said - if I offered you a bass that I had just bought for $950, then it seems to me that is comparable to what you are valuing your bass at this time. hence my question.
