Ray,

Thanks for posting the lesson. I enjoyed your playing on Ornithology. I have a question on Slap Arpeggio Techniques. What would be the most effective fingering/hammer to use on the C Major Triad?

A slap open, C hammer 1st, E hammer 4th, E slap 4th, G fret 2nd, G fret 2nd

or

A slap open, C hammer 1st, E hammer 3rd, E slap 3rd, G fret 1st, G fret 1st

Also, do you Barre the G ?

Thanks

Thanks, I got the slap, pluck, pluck right hand technique down pretty good. I was thinking of the Left Hand fretboard fingering. Sorry, I should have mentioned that in my post.

Do you use your index on the C, your pinky on the E, and your middle on the G and Octave

or, your index and ring finger on the C and the E and index on the G and Octave

Thanks again

I use my index on the C, my pinky on the E, and my index on the G and Octave on a triad arpeggio based on a "1st finger shape".
