I hope this is the proper place for this thread but I was wondering if there are any TB'ers here from the Netherlands. I will be touring there in a few weeks with Kevn Kinney's Sun Tangled Angel Revival and I would love to make contact with some Dutch bassists. We have the following shows scheduled:
04.20.2007 Hoorn Manifesto [NL]
04.21.2007 Utrecht Blue Highways Festival @ Vredenburg [NL]
04.22.2007 Ottersum Roepaen [NL]
04.24.2007 Deventer Muziekcaf Backstage [NL]
04.26.2007 Haarlem Patronaat [NL]
04.27.2007 's-Hertogenbosch W2 concertzaal [NL]
04.28.2007 Groningen Rhythm & Blues Night @ Oosterpoort [NL]
05.01.2007 Weert Bosuil [NL]
05.02.2007 Terschelling-Formerum Rustende Jager [NL]

Darn, nowhere near where I live.
Although I might be able to make it to the W2 gig if I spend the weekend at my parents. I'll check :)

If you do make it please come and say hello. I love touring the Netherlands. I am looking forward to experiencing a european festival crowd for the first time.

CAn any Dutch TB'ers tell me about Queensday?

It's the day we celebrate our queens birthday! (it's actually on the birthday of our former queen 'cause this one was born in January)
It's celebrated on the 30th of April (unless the 30th is a sunday, then it's celebrated on the 29th)

Everything is orange and not because we love carrots.

You're gonna have a great time, I'm sure. I studied jazzmusic & bassguitar in the Netherlands, there're some very good players and the audiences are cool as well.
If you're close to Nijmegen make sure to check out Paul's Bassmatters, great bass-store.
Enjoy.
