Apr 16 tax deadline forces sale of this original Hwy 1 Series, 3TSB P-bass ... minor scratching on the thin finish, mostly on the back, but nothing through finish or ugly ... I believe this to be original, with the exception of the white stock pickguard, which has been changed to 3-layer Fender BLACK in very good condition ... very nice dark, aged rosewood neck, hardware and electronics all seem to be fine ... I have not had to touch the truss rod as I was very happy with the slight relief and low to medium action ... bass is strung with Fender flats ... the threaded saddle vintage bridge has discolored/rusted saddle adjust screws and springs, but works for intonation, which is very good BTW (I use a Peterson Strobe tuner) ... this is the same bridge used on the MIM Classic Series basses, 60's Jazz, and 50's P, original Hwy 1's, and some MIA RI basses ... they are usually available on ebay for 15-20 bucks used, or 29 new from MF ... this would also be a perfect candidate if you like the BAII bridge that they put on the new $799 Hwy ONE basss ... this is not a showroom bass, but it actually looks pretty good for a 4+ year old player ... here is an 8 pound American made Fender, priced very right at $395 SHIPPED, which includes a Kaces III nylon bag ... email for pics and with any questions ... thank you

Edit to add: shipping only to lower 48 please ... thank you

Nice bass - great price.

If it were a J bass it would be on it's way to me already.

all PM's and emails replied to ... as of now AA63 has first right of refusal ... in answer to a question I had, this would not be the nitro finish that they are using on the 2006 1/2 and newer Hwy ONE series basses that sell for $799, this would be the satin lacquer finish that was used on all Hwy 1's 2003- mid 2006 ... thank you
