Bad luck and bad timing forces me to do this...

This is a very nice USA made Peavey Millennium 4 string, maple neck, cool flip/flop blue/purple finish.

This is not the Plus model, as it does not have the maple top, but it has all of the other goodies: 18 volt preamp with sweepable mids, active J/MM pickups, Dunlop straplocks, Hipshot Ultralight tuners with D-tuner.

The electronics and the D-tuner make this a very flexible bass. It offers everything from a very nice MM tone to a really deep, dubby tone. I do have sound clips available that I can supply on request. The bass is very lightweight and very easy to play. It quickly moved up my depth chart to be my number one player.

The bass is in very good condition with only two blemishes. There is a small chip in the finish just under the overhang of the fretboard. Looks like someone may have slipped when trying to adjust the trussrod:

On the edge of the body is a scratch and a chip down to the wood near the input jack:

The predominant color of the bass is a light blue, but depending on the lighting or the angle it is viewed at reveals a light purple tint:

I do not have a case for the bass, but I will supply a cheap gig bag and pack the bass securely. I am in need of cash, so no trades will be considered. I accept PayPal or USPS Money Order, $450 shipped to the continental US. I can ship to Canada, but will have to charge a little more for shipping.

Please PM me with any questions, thanks for looking!

I forgot to mention that this is a 35" scale. It is not a long reach, however. The feel is very Jazz Bass-like, since the bridge is set closer to the edge of the body. I will also include an unopened set of D'Addario XL165SL strings.

This bass came yesterday, and I am very pleased! I lowered the action a tad, and it played like absolute butter! It is so easy to play things on this bass that are uncomfortable on others that I cannot really put it into words, however, I am already a huge Millennium fan, so I'm not suprised I love it.

As I always say, I have very mixed emotions about USA Millenniums. I am glad they can be had for so little, but I am really sad they are no longer made because they were truly great basses in every sense of the word. I can only hope that one day, Peavey will again make high quality, bolt-on neck basses in America again.:)
