Hate to part with this one, but I have too many 5ers and i need to start unloading some basses.

This is a SWEET playing and sounding bass that i put together using a US-made Vaccaro body with active Vaccaro electronics and a Warmouth neck. I also added Gotoh tuners and straplocks to this baby and it is a hell of a bass.

The controls are volume, pickup selector, bass/treble stack and the tone is nice and growly - this is a rock bass, to be sure. In fact, the Vaccaro preamp actually provides a subtle overdrive when you dig in, further boosting the "growl" factor.

This bass has ZERO issues and it has never been gigged, so it's in like-new condition. This is a VERY nice bass comprised mainly of US-built parts and, frankly, I'm selling this for a song. If you played it, you'd agree.

I know I'm going to regret selling this, but I've run out of room.
I'll include a gig bag with it.

Asking $350.00 + shipping to the lower 48 states only, please. If you want a really nice, aggressive rock bass, this one fits the bill and then some.

PM me if interested.

I had a similar Vaccaro body. It was of excellent quality but it was designed for the 24th fret to be at the base of the neck. Just curious if you ever measured from the nut to the bridge saddles on the assembled bass.

When I read the title, I thought "Vermouth"
Is that wrong?

The bridge position was adjusted to account for scale.

All the parts that Planet Boulder used are of excellent quality. This is a good deal at the price he is asking.

Oh man I want this so bad.
Taking trades?

Also, 3 more questions:
Who made the PG?
What's the scale length?
Is that Dave Berg on your avatar?

1. Might consider trades - PM me with what you have to offer :D
2. The pickguard was made by Vaccaro - it's stock (and shielded by me).
3. 34" scale
4. That is actually Roger Kaputnik, who was created by Dave Berg. ;)

Someone should really jump on this. I'm sure it would EAT most new basses in that price range!! I'm out of room with several Ebay purchases inbound. :ninja:

One last bump. I would consider trade offers as well. Specifically, I'd love to trade for an old G-K 800RB head.
